Enjoying poker with God

When playing poker, it is best to maintain opponents guessing until you're ready to revenues your cards. Poker players often enjoy misdirecting the opposite players for the strength with their hand while using intent of manipulating their decisions. Poker is really a favorite game because no-one really knows who holds the best cards until the very end when everyone's hand is revealed. When looking at betting on what best to please God and ourselves, life's choices can appear very much like playing poker.
Traditional Christians are betting that believing in Jesus for their Lord and Savior is much like holding the greatest wild card that trumps each of the others. For Muslims, believing inside the five pillars of Islam can be analogous to holding the 5 best cards within the deck. The Hindus' belief in reincarnation could be seen as using an unlimited quantity of poker hands and cash to learn until we succeed. Buddhists might see the highest goal as every player at the table holding cards that end up with a balanced draw for all.
It is easy to determine in utilizing this poker analogy that not most people are playing with the same rules and might believe anyone not following their rules isn't playing with a complete deck. But then the good question arises, 'Are we playing poker and competing with the other or, are we playing poker with/against God'? That may seem like an odd and also inappropriate question though the fact is worth exploring.
Most religions agree that God is all-powerful and all-knowing. Playing poker with God clearly takes away any bluffing strategies. Realizing God can stack when in any order He likes regardless of how they are shuffled and cut means the outcome is already assured before the overall game begins. It really all depends upon what we believe God's goal is at creating us inside the first place.
Many Christians feel God's passion for us is conditional and our salvation is achieved by choosing the winning wildcard (salvation through Jesus) a moment before we die. Others still feel that we earn our salvation through our choices and deeds done on God's behalf. The Bible tells us that God is unwilling for just about any repentant soul to perish, so a spot their faith in God's want to stack the deck of life within our favor to ensure that all His youngsters are eventually saved despite having given us free will. So, exactly like with poker, there are tons of bets on the table of life but no-one knows a better solution until every one of the cards are revealed and we cash within our chips. But think on this'
If God truly is love, is all-knowing and all-powerful, and it is the most wonderful parent we might ever imagine, can we really think you will find any cards He is holding that He won't tell us? Do we feel He would create even one soul that wont eventually be saved at the time of the choosing as opposed to irreversibly condemned? Do we feel God cannot or unwilling to avoid wasting all His children yet deciding we need to have free will? If so, we are coming up with an incorrect God in your own less-than-perfect image as an alternative to doing all we can to measure up and 'Be ye therefore perfect' as Jesus taught and showed us.
The only sure bet we've got in daily life is God has stacked occasions inside our favor. We usually stay losers for as long as we wish, for all of us have free will, but our separation from Him isn't will of our loving Father.
